UHC 🚮

The U.S. healthcare system, the world’s most expensive, costs $4.3 trillion annually, with 25% of that wasted ($760–$935 billion). A major driver of waste is the inefficient insurance system, which leads to high administrative costs, complex billing, and insurance-related tasks that add $266 billion a year. Pricing failures and misuse of medical resources also contribute billions in waste. Reforming the insurance system, simplifying billing, and promoting generic drugs could significantly reduce costs for individuals, insurers, and the government.
